We are looking for a software developer who is an experienced professional to play a key role in the development and maintenance of software applications. They possess a strong understanding of programming languages, software development methodologies, and best practices.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, designers, and product managers, to analyze requirements and develop software solutions.

Design, code, test, and debug software applications using appropriate programming languages and frameworks.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

Identify and resolve software defects and bugs, ensuring the application's quality and reliability.

Write and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions into software development projects.

Collaborate with team members to identify areas of improvement and implement best practices for software development processes.

Troubleshoot and debug production issues, working closely with the support team to ensure timely resolution.

Continuously enhance technical skills and knowledge through self-study, training, and participation in professional development activities.

Job Requirements  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. (Equivalent work experience may be accepted.)

• Proven experience as a software developer, with a focus on designing and developing software applications.

• Strong knowledge of C# programming language. Familiarity with frameworks and libraries.

• Strong knowledge of front end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).

• Knowledge of front end development using React is a plus

• Proficiency in software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).

• Solid understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.

• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, with a strong emphasis on code quality and best practices.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Familiarity with software testing and debugging techniques to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

• Experience working with databases and SQL is a plus.

• Familiarity with Azure cloud platform is a plus.

• Having work permit to work in the Netherlands
